If a link leads to Amazon, treat it as an affiliate link. In the HTML they carry rel="nofollow sponsored". Everything else — manufacturer sites, reference material, our own pages — pays us nothing.

What the price on a page is worth

Each price here is a stored reading, not a live feed. Amazon can change a price or pull a product at any time. Whatever the listing says when you buy is what counts.
